A Dinner Event with
"Defuse the Emotional Charge of Trauma with Holographic Memory Resolution ® "
Wednesday, September 19, 2018
6pm – 8pm Dinner Event
Three things you will learn at this event:
How HMR can be used as a safe and effective memory resolution and relapse prevention technique
How this innovative approach integrates somatic, energy, and color psychologies
Specific Holographic Memory Resolution® principles and techniques for supporting your own self-care
Seven breakthroughs over the last 2 decades in neurophysiology and the study of consciousness have shifted the psychopathology model from the mere treatment of symptoms to the capacity to map and more effectively address the "trances" that underlie physical and emotional pain.
In this workshop, Brent Baum will introduce you to Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR): a body-centered, client-centered, “clean language” approach that has been employed with over 30,000 trauma survivors. It is a relapse prevention technique that integrates somatic, energy and color psychologies for addressing the triggers that foster addiction, depression, anxiety, and dissociation.
HMR has been used at Cottonwood Treatment Center in AZ at the time of the Oklahoma City Bombing and with employees by TWA Human Resources after the crash of TWA Flight 800. It attracted the attention of Dr. Andrew Weil at the University of Arizona, which led to its incorporation into the "Integrative Wellness Program" at Miraval. HMR can also address many forms of memory-based pathology: migraines, anxiety disorders, PTSD (military, sexual abuse, etc.), auto-immune disorders, etc. and shows promise in the treatment of disorders ranging from Krohn's to Pre-eclampsia (OBGYN case study being documented in Chicago).
HMR research (www.michaelsgift.org) was founded 15 years ago with the following mission: "We believe that all persons possess an innate ability to heal, given the proper tools and resources. We hold that personal transformation creates the foundation for global change. We are committed to reducing the impact and recurrence of trauma in our world."
NOTE: just a few days later, so this AWA event provides a great introduction! Brent will be teaching Levels 1 and 2 of his work VIDEO
